Have you ever noticed that moods change based on us daily. If can be due to weather changes, feelings, or even color. Well it is even linked to scent! That's right your scent can tell people who you are and how you feel. Get a deep dark chocolate supreme candle and you might be in the mood for love. As women we all know this folk lore to be serious truth. You don't dip those strawberries into chocolate for nothing. You want to be romanced. Keep this in mind when looking for the next candle to burn in your home or work space. Here are some easy color and mood choices out there. You have special color selections that you prefer, listen to them too. That is why candles come in so many colors. Often you might swear that two scents smell similar and the only difference is their colors. Now you know why.
So you may ask yourself, "What colors do you choose?" "Where do I begin?" I first tell my clients to think of a color that makes them feel outstanding and really focus on them. If a holiday is fast approaching I also ask that they consider scents that tend to calm, or even put off a scent that enhances the season. So here are some colors and some scents that you may want to start thinking about. So Let's Begin. Look at the list and read what each color means or tends to reflect in moods. Then look at your home and apply these same choices in everyday lifestyle. It will make your life all fall into prospective. Give it a try. Blues - Promotes peace, tranquility, calms the emotions, and relaxes the mind. Blue also aids in sleeping and healing. It is also known to reduce appetite. It invokes trust, loyalty and dedication. So consider a scent like Rain.Green- Promotes balance and harmony, relieves tension, fatigue and negative emotions. Attracts money, prosperity and good luck. It can also increase fertility. The color of youth, Nature and renewal. So consider a scent like Green Tea.Purple - Promotes royalty, mediation, evokes wisdom and creativity it clears away inhibitions and acts as an appetite suppressant. So consider a scent like Water Lily and Jasmine.Red- Okay are you sitting down? Promotes passion, love, desire and spontaneity. It represents strength and power. It stimulates the nervous system, raises blood pressure and stimulates appetite. One scent that is sure to make a man sit up and notice you would be Cinnamon. Pink- Stimulates peace, happiness and joy. Promotes affection and laughter and thought to bring a soft gentle or charming way to life. One scent that jumps to mind is a Forbidden Fruit.Orange- The color of happiness, enthusiasm, laughter and energy. Frees mental and physical restrictions and aids in self esteem and ambition. Stimulates appetite and conversation. Is warm and inviting. I have chosen Peach and Papaya, simply because this is a great mood. I use it at parties and yes it gets everyone talking and eating.Yellow- Symbolizes joy, hope, imagination and inspiration. Very cheerful, playful and stimulates the intellect. Try Sunflower.White- This is a symbol of purity, simplicity, and cleanliness. It offers a sense of peace, clarity and unison. I would recommend Gardenia for this sense.Well there you have it. Colors and moods, and even scents. These can make a big difference in how you feel today, tomorrow and the rest of your life.
